We are required by law to have an adult (over age 21) signature. UPS will make 3 delivery attempts, and the customer will then be billed $24.00, in addition to return shipping costs if the wine has not been received. We recommend using a business address to insure that wine is delivered the first time.
A note on corks and decanting in older wines: We recommend using a dual-pronged Ah-So opener to gently, patiently finesse the cork. Gentleness is key, and individual corks vary, some prone to crumbling, others firms and easy to extract. If a cork crumbles or is pushed into the wine bottle, as sometimes occurs, we recommend decanting with a sieve. Decanting will only enhance the nuanced flavors of the wine.
